Air Madagascar ordered to pay over $21m to Air France

In its judgment of 17 October, which has been seen by Jeune Afrique Business+, the Paris Commercial Court dismissed the claims of Air Madagascar in the case of the two Airbus A340 aircraft that it bought from Air France in 2012.

The decision was much anticipated in Madagascar. On Thursday 17 October the Paris Commercial Court (Tribunal de Commerce de Paris) delivered its ruling in the case of two Airbus A340 aircraft which had been at the centre of an ownership dispute between Air France and Air Madagascar since August 2018.
