HP Capital Properties, which owns the Cosmos shopping mall in Yopougon alongside Lebanese family group Saradar, is not planning to leave Côte d’Ivoire though. “We are going to focus on other projects that we are planning to launch until we have a clearer picture of what is happening at Renaissance Plaza. As things stand, we are looking to pull out of the project. We don’t want to get mixed up in political intrigue,” explained to Jeune Afrique Business+ a source at HP Capital Properties.
