After a selection process in July during which Telecel and a consortium led by businessmen Mohamed Rissa and Moctar Thiam upped their respective takeover offers one after another, Orange Niger has ultimately decided on Telecel. According to a reliable source, the company’s choice was primarily influenced by the financial plan Telecel proposed.
