SMB obtains blocks 1 and 2 at Simandou: China Railway vying for the Trans-Guinean

A reliable source has confirmed that, as expected, management is looking to CRCC for the Trans-Guinean railway. It is quite simply the “most straightforward and logical solution for SMB which has already teamed up with CRCC for the construction of its existing 100-kilometre railway project.” Negotiations between the two partners will now focus on the price demanded by the Chinese behemoth for the development which will open up Guinea’s hinterland.
