OCP and its chief executive Mostafa Terrab are studying this opportunity for investment outside its core business area, Jeune Afrique Business+ has learned. However, when approached, the group – which is building a $3.7 billion fertiliser plant in Dire Dawa 400 kilometres north-east of the Ethiopian capital – declined to comment on the subject.
