After several months of delays, the large French utility company Suez has signed its first affermage contract in the south of the Sahara, in Senegal, for some €2bn for a 15-year period. Ana Giros, who leads the group’s regional operations, tells Jeune Afrique Business+ more about the terms of the agreement and Suez’s ambitions in Africa.
