DRC: SOKIMO wants to list its stake in the Kibali mine operated by Barrick

Klaus Eckhof devised the proposed transaction via AJN Resources. In the early 2000s, the geologist founded Moto Goldmines, the company that owns the rights to Kibali. It was acquired in 2009 by AngloGold Ashanti Ltd and Randgold Resources (Mark Bristow), which merged with Barrick, the current operator of the colossal gold mine.
