The contract was signed at the end of February between the Guinean State (holder of 34% of the project), Africa50 (33%) and the ADP Group (33%). It provides for the development and financing of the modernisation, extension and operation of Gbessia International Airport in Conakry. It also encompasses the renovation and expansion of the runway and main taxiways, requiring an investment package of €120m ($135m) for this first phase. With these various projects, the three shareholders hope to double traffic by 2031 to reach more than one million passengers.
