Already present in Libreville, Lomé and Pointe-Noire, the telecoms operator and broadband access provider GVA is launching its offers today in Abidjan. Marketed under the “Canalbox” brand, the offering of this subsidiary of the Vivendi group, which employs 400 people on the continent (and about 20 in Paris), is already available in the Marcory district of Abidjan. Its box is directly connected to the fibre optic network and will be offered in the coming weeks in Treichville, Cocody, Plateau and Riviera. On 18 March, GVA will launch its offering in Kigali (Rwanda) and then in Ouagadougou and Burkina Faso in the coming months.
