“We voluntarily reduced the size of the fund. We were expecting to receive foreign direct investment, but the trend today is to invest directly in institutions without going through funds like Yeelen. Investors consider the markets to be mature,” Benjamin Kouakou, Associate Director of Cauris Management and Head of the Yeelen Financial Fund, told Jeune Afrique Business+.
