In view since the end of 2016, the acquisition of French bank BNP Paribas’ 47% stake in Banque internationale pour le commerce et l’industrie du Gabon (Bicig) by the Fonds gabonais d’investissements stratégiques (FGIS) was approved by the board of directors of the Libreville-based bank on 27 March.
