Liquid Telecom sets its sights on Francophone Africa with the hiring of Philippe and Virginie Tintignac (Afrique Telecom)

The subsidiary of Zimbabwean company Econet has recruited two new development directors to lead its operations in French-speaking Africa.

According to our sources, the move follows the April closure of French company Afrique Telecom, which operated in West Africa. Philippe and Virginie Tintignac, who co-founded the Auxerre-based company in 2005, are joining the group headed by South African Nic Rudnick.
