During this time of both a global energy sector crisis and an internal restructure, Engie has decided to continue forging ahead in Kenya. “The group remains committed to carrying out the Olkaria VI geothermal project as a PPP, for which, as part of a consortium, it is one of the pre-qualifiers”, a source close to the French energy company told Jeune Afrique Business+.
