Inside Tembo Capital, the insatiable investment firm led by Actis and CDC alumni

Thanks to its first two funds targeting Africa and emerging markets, Tembo Capital has raised $350m since 2014. Now, its three founders, David Street, John Hodder and Peter Ruxton, have decided to think big, and are targeting $300m for their third fund, whose initial closing in early July reached an undisclosed sum.
