Swedish export credit agency EKN is continuing to guarantee projects in South Africa’s coal industry despite obligations relating to the Paris Agreement signed in 2015, the European aim for carbon neutrality by 2050, and Sweden’s adherence to the OECD’s principles of sustainable lending and export credits.
