A reduction in internet access fees and a greater market share on the archipelago are listed as key priorities. Mukesh Valabhji, the founder and Managing Director of Intelvision Limited, explains to Jeune Afrique Business+ that he wants to crack the dominance enjoyed by the consortium led by Airtel, Cable and Wireless Seychelles (CWS) and the Seychelles government, which to date manages the only cable linking the island to the African continent. “Internet fees are too high,” says the leader of the company, which focuses on the three complementary areas of cable television, internet and web-based VoIP telephony.
