Three partners have created the new entity, known as Majorelle Capital: Hassan Fassi Fihri, formerly of Ascent Capital Partners, formerly of Ardian, Rothschild and DC Advisory; Aziz Meschat, also a former investment banker at Ascent, with experience in private equity at Société Générale and in M&A at Deloitte. Alongside these two directors based in Casablanca is Mohamed Sagou, based in Paris. Formerly of Lazard and Canaccord, he is the founder of Zaina.io, specialising in credit access for African companies in Paris.
