The Indian group, JMC Projects, has won phase 1 of the Ethiopia-Djibouti Transport Corridor to design and construct a four-lane highway between Adama—the largest city in the Oromia region country’s third-largest city—and Melka Jilo. The estimated amount is 6.688 billion Ethiopian birrs (€128 million).
