As a 51% shareholder in the New Cotton Company of Togo (NSCT), Olam International plans to invest CFA F 4.5 billion to boost the sector, which recorded production of 67,000 tonnes during the previous campaign (2020-2021) against 116,000 tonnes in 2019, according to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources.
