Several French energy specialists are participating in a mission to Mauritania, organised from 8 to 10 March by Bpifrance and Medef International with the National Union of Mauritanian Employers (UNPM). The planned gas production from GTA is indeed expected to boost local economic activity.

It has been several years since such a delegation – 40 French companies and about 50 managers – last visited the republic known for its fishing resources, iron ore, but also for its gas, and potential for producing green hydrogen.
