The funds are expected to be raised quickly, before the end of 2020, Ekocab’s founder, Segun Cole, told Jeune Afrique Business+. “The market is indeed constantly changing, but it isn’t saturated yet,” he said, adding that “strong competitors like Uber and Bolt raise, by comparison, capital abroad to subsidise their African subsidiaries”.
